Welcome to WrapTint, we are a family run business based in the Northwest of England, close to major motorways. We have a dedicated training workshop to suit all needs of training within the window film and vinyl industry.

Okay here is the bit I don’t really like, talking about myself but I guess I have to tell you how experienced I am. I’ve been in the industry’s since 1989, ‘yep a long time’ I worked for the leading window film Manufacturing company, Llumar for over 20 years, becoming the European technical manager, teaching trainers how to train people within the window tinting industry. About 20 years ago I started wrapping cars and teaching people how to wrap cars, I guess I have trained well over 1000 people from many different countries, such as Europe, USA, China, Australia, Middle East. Craig my son and Steve my brother have been installing window film and wrapping kitchens for many years, Craig started at 16 and is now 36 and Steve has been with us for over 5 years. So you are in good hands. We have been working with a F1 team for several years and use our workshop to train their up and coming F1 vinyl installers and we are always looking for more to join the F1 team.

We don’t just train people we do it ourselves, whether its car wrapping, car tinting, flat glass tinting or kitchen wrapping we do it! (we practise what we preach). Be very careful when choosing who or what company teaches you, ask yourself the following questions:

· Do they do it themselves regularly?

· Is it a product manufacturer or distributor?

· Do they teach the nitty-gritty side of the job?

· How many people are being trained with you?

· Do they offer a aftercare service?

· Don’t be fooled by free gifts!

Please don’t get me wrong, there are some good companies training people out there and I don’t want to be disrespectful to them, however I have lost count of the number of people I have re-trained over the years, just be careful. We pride ourselves, not just with the training but more importantly with the our aftercare, so many people fail because they don’t have the right support afterwards, if you call me, your call wont be ignored, even if I’m training someone I WILL ANSWER, this is explained to all students because it might be them holding a heat gun in need of advise A.S.A.P.

So if you would like to lean a new skill, we at WrapTint will start you off in your journey to becoming a Master. Hard work is necessary, it wont happen over night but stick with it and with our help you will have a successful company, more importantly you will enjoy it and be proud of it.

We have been tinting and teaching people how to tint cars for over35 years. I remember when I first started tinting back in 1989, people would often say” car tinting will die out because the car makers will use factory tinted glass” This never happened and the demand for tinting cars is still high, even factory tinted glass is sometimes not enough and does not preform as well as professional window film.

I have been very lucky with respect to my career within the window film industry, travelling around the world teaching and setting up some very successful companies, one of the most satisfying things I go through is when I see a student go from nothing to being the owner of a very successful business.
